Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) is a membership-driven company.  Our Company Members come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences with specialties that include a wide breadth of experience in performance, design, technical operations, marketing, stage direction and stage management.

CCPT was founded in 1998 by the highly respected theatre veterans Stephen Moore and Jemaine Li on the belief that an appreciation of theatre history is the touchstone to an understanding and enjoyment of live theatre; a source of considerable educational, inspirational, social and entertainment value to the community and to society at large.

While both Ms. Li and Mr. Moore have left the organization to pursue other exciting opportunities, The Public is currently managed by a group of its original founding members, headed by an Executive Board. 

While Culver City Public Theatre works with artists from a wide-range of backgrounds, membership to the Company is by invitation only.

Culver City Public Theatre is sponsored by the Culver City Department of Human Services, and made possible in part by the generous contributions of its patrons and of local Culver City businesses.
