the 2007 season

CULVER CITY PUBLIC THEATRE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2007 Mainstage SUMMER SEASON!

  • Much Ado About Nothing
         by William Shakespeare
         Directed by Ken MacFarlane
    July 14 – July 29
    (Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm)

"One of Shakespeare's most enduring romantic comedies, this classic entertains with uncommon wit, humor and exquisitely clever dialogue.  The fun unfolds at a brisk pace as love, infidelity and miscommunication cause havoc in old Sicily (Messina).  The story is enhanced by two contrasting plots, a battle-of-the-sexes between Beatrice and Benedict, and the more conventional romance of Hero and Claudius."

  • The Good Doctor
         by Neil Simon
         Directed by Dean Edward
    August 4 – August 19
    (Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm)

"Based on the charming short stories of Anton Chekhov. Laugh as our narrator, the distinguished writer, leads you through stories including a sneeze that ruins a man’s career, a visit to the dentist that goes comically awry, and a sweetly innocent woman who turns out to be quite a handful!"
